The master behind the music: Danny Elfman
At the heart of it all is the music of Danny Elfman, Burton’s regular collaborator and one of the most distinctive film composers of our time. Elfman’s music weaves playfulness with menace and tenderness with grandeur. This perfectly reflects Burton’s visual imagination. Highlights also include unforgettable moments from Corpse Bride, the cult favorite Beetlejuice, the gothic heaviness of Batman, and the razor-sharp drama of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
