🌱 The Meatless Monday Social — Try Something Different
About the event
What if your Monday night out could be delicious and do a little good? 👀
#MeatlessMonday is a global movement encouraging people to skip meat one day a week — an easy way to explore plant-based food while making a small, collective difference for animals and the planet. 🌎🐾 And no, you do NOT have to be vegan or vegetarian to join us.
🌎 A little food for thought: Livestock was responsible for about 4.3 billion tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions in 2023, making it the largest single source within global agrifood-system emissions, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. Livestock production also requires enormous amounts of land and resources. 🐾 And there’s an animal impact, too. Choosing more plant-based meals means reducing demand for animal agriculture — one meal at a time.
This one is for everyone — especially the curious omnivores who want to try something new without giving up their favorite foods forever.
🍽️ Good food you’ll actually want to come back for 🍸 Drinks + great vibes 👋 Meet new people and make your Monday a little less… Monday 🐾 Support a more compassionate choice for animals 🌎 Take one small step toward a more sustainable future
