Luke Frees & The Shadowband write songwriter-driven funky rock music. Strong melodic hooks, soaring avant saxophones, and a tight rhythm section give the band its energetic edge, while still leaving plenty of room for improvised dynamic jams that build to a catharsis. They’ve been releasing singles for the past year, preparing for a full-length album to be released in the summer of 2026. Damon Groen is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter who’s music spans from intimate and heartfelt to grand and universal. He has impressed both friends and strangers alike with his ability to translate his music to the stage, and he hopes that all who encounter him, whether in live or recorded spaces, find joy and belonging, if only for a moment.
