Managers, leaders, or anyone that wants to ace their Q4 are invited to bring in their hard choices for discussion. This is not just a manager's problem. Your Q4 is critical even if you lead only yourself.
What's this about? The last quarter of the year is always challenging, regardless of how well the previous quarters played out.
• Last of the project buffers was spent months ago, those deadlines look mighty close! • Final stretch for all those personal goals that seemed so far away. Did you end up spending one hour a week on that certification? • Performance evaluations season is starting, and you are being evaluated on your performance evaluation performance. • You promised yourself no more missing gym-time... but that seems so long ago...
If this is familiar, then you are in the Q4 crunch. You need a plan - a list of clarified actions and steps you know are the right thing to do, but needed someone else to help you see it.
