About the event
Life is a cabaret, my friend…..ACAB-aret! Join host Johnny Castro for a night of original music, comedy, and hating the police, all in fundraising support for Critical Resistance. Critical Resistance seeks to build an international movement to end the prison industrial complex (PIC) by challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe. The movement requires joy and laughter, too. Come on down, learn about CR’s current work and mission, and get involved! Piano accompaniment by Sam Marston. Special guest performances by Sofia Yau-Weeks and Styles Alexander.
