African School of Coffee Open Day We’re opening the doors to the African School of Coffee for a full day of coffee, free training, cuppings, competition and a chance to spend some time with the people who make up Cape Town’s coffee community. Together with Creative Coffee Events, Coffee Magazine and Yoco, we’re filling the school with the people, equipment and conversations that make this industry what it is. Whether you work in coffee, want to work in coffee, make it obsessively at home, or simply want to know a little more about what’s in your cup, the Open Day is for you. Pull up to the table, taste some great coffee and learn alongside the people behind it. LATTE ART THROWDOWNThings get a little louder out front with a live Latte Art Throwdown. Come compete, come support, or come see what people can do with a jug of milk and a little pressure. YOCOMeet the Yoco team and get hands-on with the tools behind running and growing a small business. CREATIVE COFFEE EVENTS × COFFEE MAGAZINESome familiar faces from the coffee community will be in the building, connecting, talking coffee and joining us for the day. You don’t need to be a barista, and you don’t need to know what you’re doing. Come for one session or make a day of it. Learn something, taste something, compete if you’re brave enough, or just pull up a chair and hang out with us. Entry is free.
