Screening in memory of actor Cees Geel who died of a heart attack on 14 July 2026. Geel played the amiable, freedom loving, womanizing hash dealer Simon, best friend to the prim homosexual Camiel in Terstall's eponymous feature film. Geel was awarded a Golden Calf for Best Actor at the Netherlands Film Festival.
Terstall allows Geel to shine as the improbable best friend of the prim homosexual dentistry student Camiel in Amsterdam. The two lose touch with one another, but 14 years later they meet again by accident.
