Let's Get Comfortable

Venue: Bukit Batok Library, Ripples Circle, Level 2

About the Event

The Human Library, titled “Let’s Get Comfortable”, aims to reframe mental health conversations not as brave or difficult acts, but as human, everyday exchanges. Through warmth, choice and shared stories, this Human Library invites the public to sit in with an open mind and learn more about living with mental health conditions.

Love Beyond Memory

When his mother was diagnosed with dementia after a life-changing accident, Mahmud made the selfless decision to leave his job and become her full-time caregiver. Faced with this new reality, he struggled with isolation, uncertainty and burnout. Yet through every challenge, he found strength in love, faith and the courage to seek support.

Discover how a son’s love became a journey of resilience and hope.
