Several years ago, Maciej took his son and two of his friends on a vacation during which they shot a horror film together. He wanted to draw the boys away from computers. He didn't suspect then that it would turn into one of the greatest adventures of his life and that together they would create not only a unique, but certainly one-of-a-kind series of horrors titled "Candidates of Death". Today the boys are almost thirty years old. They have changed a lot, and each of them is searching for their own path. "Candidates of Death" is a record of their film adventures over the course of several years.
It is a film about themselves, about growing up, questions, fears and dreams, and above all about the power of a friendship lasting many years.
