ADE: Christian Löffler & Adna
About the event
Experience the enchanting layers of Christian Löffler and the warm vocals of Adna during ADE at the Concertgebouw. A unique total musical experience! Layered compositions
Christian Löffler (1985) is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music. The German producer, hailing from a quiet town on the Baltic Sea, translates his connection to his calm surroundings into atmospheric, layered compositions. His music operates at the intersection of ambient, techno, and house, featuring melancholic melodies and minimalist rhythms, in which he seeks a refined balance between acoustic and electronic elements. In addition to being a musician, Löffler is also a visual artist, which lends his work a strong visual, almost tangible dimension.
Until We Meet Again
On his most recent album, Until We Meet Again, from 2026, Löffler explores themes such as transience, encounters, and connection. Many pieces originated along the way: intimate piano sketches grew into richly arranged compositions featuring vintage synthesizers. Adna's warm vocals add a human layer to the album. As always, Löffler designed the artwork himself in watercolor, allowing music and visuals to merge into a total experience that underscores his multidisciplinary approach.

Amsterdam Dance Event at the Concertgebouw
Since 2013, Het Concertgebouw has presented one or more special concerts during ADE that explore the intersections between electronic, classical, and timeless music – whether or not specifically tailored to the setting of the halls. Guests in recent years have included Weval, MEUTE, Young Marco, Jarreau Vandal, Legowelt, Lamsi, Darkside, Junkie XL, and Nils Frahm, among others. After DJ Sasha's performance in 2014, 3voor12 wrote about electronic music at Het Concertgebouw: 'If God was a DJ, he wants this to be his house'!
