You are cordially invited to join us to PRACTICE THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY IN ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING LOCATIONS IN SOUTH FLORIDA with great street, architecture, and documentary Photography. Practice anticipating the “decisive moment” of street photography AND how to plan and compose for static elements before pressing the shutter to capture a memorable image.
We’ll meet at the NE Corner of Lincoln Road and Pennsylvania Ave (at H&M’s store at 552 Lincoln Road 33139) at 10:00 A. *[You can park at the PARKING GARAGE, addressed as 640 17 Street, Miami Beach (33139) - Very close to our meeting place]* NOTE that… all types of imaging equipment (iPhones / Smart Phones / Cameras) can make great artistic creations and are appropriate for our photowalks
We'll start with a photo-stroll along Lincoln Road (a vision of “Fifth Avenue” in the South designed as the first pedestrian mall by architect Morris Lapidus) to Washington Avenue. From there, we’ll get the (FREE) South Beach Trolley to South Beach and walk north along Ocean Drive for the best part of our photowalk… packed with tourists, art deco buildings and epic beach scenery!
The workshop leader (Rafael) taught photography classes -all levels- and conducted over 150 field photography outings in South Florida and will provide specific ideas along the way for more meaningful (artistic) images for a memorable learning experience - *This workshop is a “One-of-a-Kind” technically supported photoshoot with attention to practical learning for which there is a $10 fee.*
