Dance-Theater Workshop

An experimental space where movement and dramaturgy dissolve boundaries. Drawing on approaches pioneered by Pina Bausch, this practice values the authenticity of gesture over technical refinement. The body becomes a storyteller: it performs narratives, awakens memories, and responds to emotional impulses, translating abstract feeling into concrete stage presence. Led by Lilian Domingos, the workshop develops deep somatic awareness through improvisation techniques that free participants from mechanical patterns. Via theatrical games and movement laboratories, each person learns to inhabit space with intention, employing weight, tempo, and stillness as narrative tools. Silence carries the same weight as a cry; a simple walk can hold the intensity of an entire monologue. A collective and vulnerable environment where the everyday transforms into art. The workshop fosters individual creative voice, enabling each participant to discover their own aesthetic signature. Dance-theater ultimately emerges as both cathartic and anthropological experience—an exploration of the human capacity to communicate the ineffable through flesh, effort, and imagination.
