Africa Meets the World | Culture Picnic in Osaka

What is something special about your country that you wish more people knew?

Come join us for a relaxed Culture Picnic in the Park, where we can meet new people, enjoy some snacks, practice English, and learn about different cultures from each other. 🌍🧺

I’m from Cameroon, and I’ll share a little about Africa, my culture, and some of my experiences travelling around the continent.

But this event isn't just about Africa — everyone gets to share!

Whether you're from Japan, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas or anywhere else, come and tell us a little about your country and culture.

There is no presentation required. Just come, sit with us and join the conversation.

You don't need perfect English either. This is a friendly space to speak, listen, ask questions and learn from one another.

Everyone will get turns to share, it’s open.

🧺 Picnic Style

Please bring your own snacks and drink to enjoy during the picnic. You can bring something from your country if you want, but you don't have to.

If you'd like to share some with the group, that's wonderful, but sharing food is completely optional.

Bring a picnic mat if you have one!

公園でのんびりピクニックをしながら、新しい人と出会い、お菓子を楽しみ、英語で話しながら、お互いの国や文化について知る時間を過ごしませんか？🌍🧺

私はカメルーン出身です。当日は、アフリカや私の文化、そしてアフリカ各地を旅した経験について少しお話しします。

でも、このイベントはアフリカについて聞くだけのイベントではありません。

今回は、みんなが主役です！

プレゼンテーションを準備する必要はありません！

一緒に座って、リラックスしながら会話を楽しみましょう。

英語が完璧でなくても大丈夫です。話したり、聞いたり、質問したりしながら、お互いの文化について楽しく学べる場所にしたいと思っています。

ピクニック中に楽しめるように、自分用のお菓子や軽食、飲み物を持ってきてください。

もしよければ、自分の国のお菓子や食べ物を持ってきてもOK！でも、もちろん必須ではありません。

みんなと食べ物をシェアしたい方は大歓迎ですが、シェアする必要はありません。

ピクニックマットを持っている方は、ぜひ持ってきてください！
