Afro Live
About the event
Heaven Sam (Mr. Afro Disco) and Don Jordy take you on a journey through Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House, and Dancehall during Afro Live, an intimate boiler room night at Chicago Social Club Amsterdam as part of Amsterdam Dance Event. African and Caribbean sounds in an intimate setting
Afro Live brings together the energy of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House, and Dancehall in one evening. The atmosphere is intimate: no large stages or distance between artist and audience, but a small venue where music and movement come together. Chicago Social Club in Amsterdam provides the setting for this boiler room night, as part of Amsterdam Dance Event.
The artists behind the evening
Heaven Sam, also known as Mr. Afro Disco, combines live drums, piano sounds, and electronic elements into a continuous whole. He connects DJ culture with live performance. Don Jordy complements the evening with a mix of hip-hop classics from the 2000s, contemporary Afro sounds, and club energy that bridges generations.
An evening for those who love dancing
Afro Live caters to visitors who want to be carried away by rhythmic bass, infectious grooves, and a dancing crowd. The intimate space ensures that you experience the music up close. Are you interested in tickets? Use the ticket link on this page.
