
Mending Circle
About the event
Bring a favourite worn garment to work on. Practice techniques like visible mending, Kantha, Sashiko, darning, weaving, appliqué and embroidery in a supportive, skill-sharing space. Tools and mostly post-consumer materials are provided. Instructions for patching, darning, hems, and buttons will be given in the first half of the session. Open to all ages, beginners through experienced sewers. Registration is not required, and this room has a capacity of 15, so please arrive early to ensure a spot.
