Connecting Circles is a small language and culture community in Singapore.
It’s more structured than a casual meetup, but more relaxed than a traditional language class.
We meet in small groups to learn and practice languages, share our cultures and interests, and make real connections.
📚 KOREAN CIRCLE
Last week, we learned useful Korean expressions for talking about books and asking for recommendations at a bookstore.
This Saturday, we’ll visit Bommoi Korean Bookstore and put those expressions into practice! We’ll speak directly with the bookstore owner, ask for book recommendations, and have a little small talk in Korean.
Joining us for the first time? Don’t worry! We’ll go over a few simple expressions together before we begin, so you can join comfortably.
Our sessions are relaxed and friendly, but thoughtfully guided to give everyone plenty of opportunities to speak.
After the guided session, you’re welcome to stay for some relaxed conversation and get to know the other participants.:)
