Her debut self-titled collection “Hera Lindsay Bird” won the Jessie McKay prize for the best first book of poetry at the Ockham Book Awards and the 2017 Sarah Broom Poetry Prize judged by Carol Ann Duffy. Last year, a selection of her work titled “Juvenilia” came out with US publishers Deep Vellum Press. She is the Spinoff's poetry editor and advice columnist at Help me Hera.
