Classical Music: Playing Solo or Ensemble

Let's get together and share our passion for making music! This is a regular meetup for amateur musicians of all levels and abilities to perform for each other and socialize. We strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where every musician feels welcome.
What Are We Going to Do? You can play solo or ensemble piece(s) at any stage of performance-readiness. This is not a recital - works-in-progress and fragments of works are welcome! You might also meet other musicians who are interested in preparing duets or other ensembles. Those who are good at sight reading may choose to play in duets or trios. Please bring the scores for the pieces you want to play, or that you wish to play with others. Giving compliments and discussion of the music is welcome, but please, no unsolicited criticism of performances. The studio has a piano, and non-pianists bring their own instruments. Sorry, no percussion instruments are allowed in the studio. If it is raining, you may want to bring indoor shoes. The studio is up one flight of stairs. Cost: $10 each (payable by cash at the meetup, or by e-transfer to the organizer) Remember that there are limited spots in this meetup. For this reason, please RSVP only if you are planning to play.
