Join us for our first Meetup on Wednesday 2 September 2026 at Bar Boele, VU Griffioen! 🧠✨🌍
For this event, every participant prepares a short presentation 🎤 about one Nobel Prize winner of their choice and their discovery that genuinely fascinates you — from physics ⚛️, chemistry 🧪, medicine 🧬 or economics 📊.
In your 3–5 minutes, tell us about:
🔬 The discovery or achievement — what did they actually discover or accomplish?
🧠 The science or ideas behind it — why was it groundbreaking?
📜 Historical relevance — what changed because of it?
🌍 Relevance today — how does it still affect science, technology, society or our understanding of the world?
After each presentation, there will be room for questions, discussion and exchanging ideas 💬🤔💡.
