Marked by meticulous songwriting and a refined sound shaped by interwoven saxophones, flutes, and clarinets, the album moves away from the electronic experimentation of his previous records in favour of a new essentiality: clear, immediate melodies capable of transforming artistic research into a more direct and unguarded form of expression.
A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Bârlad, raised in the Veneto region, shaped by his years in Bologna, and now based in Milan, Rares turns Sincero! into a genuine break-up album, recounting with honesty and vulnerability the accumulation of small events, emotions, and inner upheavals that lead to the end of a relationship. As its title suggests, the album embraces absolute sincerity as its guiding principle, capturing with both lightness and depth the complexity of love’s ending.
The evening continues with Marta Del Grandi, who brings to the stage one of the most refined and magnetic projects on the contemporary Italian music scene, a body of work that has also garnered growing international recognition. A Milanese singer-songwriter with a jazz background whose artistic path has taken her through Milan, Belgium, China, and Kathmandu, Del Grandi has developed a highly distinctive sonic universe where avant-pop, folk, cinematic songwriting, and minimalist electronics coexist in a rare and immediately recognisable balance.
