Silent Book Club Sep 2026
About the event
Join a calm, welcoming group of readers. Bring any book you are excited to read — no assigned titles. We start with a brief 30-minute mingle to share what we are reading, then settle into 90 minutes of quiet, focused reading.
Small group vibe (limited to 30 seats) — please RSVP to reserve your spot. Perfect for introverts, busy readers, or anyone craving peaceful “me-time.”
*** September SPECIAL EVENT *** For September we are partnering with the National Library Board for their reading event. The Silent Book Club will be held on Sunday 6 Sep (moved from our usual third Saturday) at The Pod at Level 16 National Library Building.
House rule: strictly no food; only sealed bottled drinks allowed.
As usual, please note:
• Our attendee list is capped at 30 confirmed participants. If you are on the waitlist, please know that the Meetup system is designed to automatically offer available spots to waitlisted individuals should any confirmed attendees drop out. If an opening does arise, you will receive an automated notification • This event has limited seating and is designed for a small group, so please update your RSVP as soon as possible if your plans change
