Hiking Trip Overview 🏔️ Destination: Parc Harold F. Baldwin (Mont Pinacle) 🛣️ Trail Name: Main Trail (Sentier #1) Uphill to Summit ➡️ Loop via Sentier #3 / Main Circuit Downhill 💪 Difficulty Level: Intermediate | ~5.2 km | 164 m elevation gain ⏰ Meet-up Time: 09:00 AM sharp departure 📍 Meet-up Location: Lionel-Groulx Metro Station 🍱 Meal Notice: Please bring your own lunch/trail snacks to eat at the summit overlooking Lake Lyster. Will disperse to grab coffee/afternoon tea or ice cream individually in Coaticook after the hike. Timeline 🚗 09:00 AM ｜ Depart from Lionel-Groulx Metro Station (approx. 2 hours drive) 🥾 11:00 AM ｜ Arrive at trailhead & gear up (GPS: Parc Harold F. Baldwin, Coaticook / Baldwin Mills) 🧗 11:20 AM - 12:40 PM ｜ 【Uphill】Ascend through the maple forest to the cliffside summit (approx. 1 hour 20 mins) 🍱 12:40 PM - 01:20 PM ｜ 【Summit】Lake Lyster Vista & Cliffside Lunch Break 🚶 01:20 PM - 02:20 PM ｜ 【Downhill】Easy descent via the circuit loop (approx. 1 hour) 🚙 02:30 PM - 02:50 PM ｜ Regroup and drive to downtown Coaticook 🍕 03:00 PM - 04:15 PM ｜ Free time on Coaticook Main Street (and grab ice cream at Laiterie de Coaticook!) 🏎️ 04:15 PM ｜ Depart from Coaticook for Montreal 🏠 06:15 PM ｜ Arrive safely back at Lionel-Groulx Metro Station / Montreal Pack Checklist 🥾 Hiking Boots / Grippy Trail Shoes 🧣 Windbreaker / Warm Layer 💧 Sufficient Water 🍱 Packed Lunch 🍫 High-Energy Snacks 💰Please note that everyone (except for the driver) will need to contribute $30 for gas/carpool compensation due to the travel distance.
