About the event

On September 7, SFYN Amsterdam kicks off Waste-Free Week with a special dinner at TestTafel in Amsterdam. Chefs transform rescued ingredients into fine-dining dishes, sharing stories about food waste and sustainable solutions. At SFYN Amsterdam, they believe that a sustainable food system starts on our own plates. Together with TestTafel, they demonstrate how rescued ingredients and food surpluses are transformed into a surprising fine-dining experience. During each course, the chefs tell the story behind it: which ingredients would otherwise have gone to waste, and which collaborations with food rescue initiatives underpin this.
