MBG Leisure Ride East

it has been a while since we organise local leisure. let start with the new 2027 committee with more local and overseas rides coming.

NOTE: This event only open for 25 slots, please RSVP only when you are really available on this date.

Ride Grading: 2.8 (1 easy - 5 very strenuous)

Terrain: Road and PCN - do expect some short climb Bike Type: Any

Distance: Est 30 Km

Speed: 18-25 km/h

Meeting Point: Lorong Halus beside the toilet

Moving out time: 7.45am sharp

End time: 11.30pm approx

Route: Heading: Lorong Halus PCN - Pasir Ris Drive 3 - Loyang Lane- Loyang Drive-Loyang Crescent -Loyang Way 4-Loyang Ave-Craneway Road-Netheroven Rd-Changi East Coast Rd- U turn back at Changi Ferry Road-Nicoll Drive-Loyang Ave- Loyang Way-Upper Changi Rd North-Tanah Merah Besar Rd-Changi North Way-Changi North Crescent- Changi North Rise-Changi North St 1- Flora Dr-Old Tampine Rd-Pasir Drive 3 -Halus Bridge. on returning we take a break at Changi Village or Pasir Ris coffee shop (subject to changes when necessary)

Important Safety Instructions!

Strictly comply to LTA rules on riding formations: 5 riders in single or 2x5 in when riding abreast.

Follow traffic rules at all times.

Stop at the red light. (Do not follow the front rider blindly)

No overtaking on left.

When overtaking on right, check blind spot & signal to the cyclist on the left, keep left after overtaking.

Ride in a predictable manner and keep to your lane.

Keep one-meter length from the front cyclist.

No sudden emergency braking if you drop something.

Do not ride or stop beside tipper truck or bus. Always stay behind big vehicles.

Show the different Hand signals Echo or signal hazards to the cyclist behind you. No helmet no ride!

Rides must have rear red lights and front lights.
