A spectacular celebration of Cuba’s enduring musical legacy, inspired by the Buena Vista Social Club and brought to life by Los Canelas, South Africa’s Cito (Wonderboom), the Hassan’adas Big Band, and Spain’s dynamic Koko Jean & The Tonics in a powerful fusion of Afro-Cuban classics, soul, jazz, and contemporary world sounds. The evening also honours Prophets of Da City, trailblazing hip-hop pioneers, with the prestigious BEA Humanitarian Award, following a foyer transformed by a Cuban-inspired DJ set into a vibrant carnival of rhythm, dance, and colour—a stirring tribute to resilience, artistry, and cultural connection.
