Talk Details:
Talk1: "Symfony AI: From First Push to v1.0" by Christopher Hertel Three years ago, I pushed a first GPT integration for a talk at SymfonyLive Berlin, with no idea what I was getting myself into. After countless changes, long nights, and building a lot of connection with the PHP community, we're about to tag Symfony AI v1.0. This is less a tech talk and more a personal story about going all in on bringing AI to PHP and running my very first open source projects. I'll share which issues we faced while slicing the scope of the project, my perspective for OSS libs in agentic times, and the harness I've built around the project to keep it all running, and manage my workload.
Talk 2: "Symfony AI + Jev: From Structured Decisions to a Live Proof of Concept" by Martin Voerster Jev takes a different approach to AI: rather than generating free-form text, it returns structured decisions that applications can use directly. This session introduces Jev and Symfony AI, then brings them together in a live proof of concept. See how a Symfony application can turn a model’s decision into a real-time feature.
Don't miss this insightful talk, engaging discussions, and networking opportunities. We can't wait to see you all at the Symfony User Group of October. If you have any questions or accessibility requirements, please reach out to us.
