Joanna Manqueros on vocals and harmonium. Joanna facilitates kirtan as a medicinal experience, invoking uplifting concepts, reaching toward a higher power, and embracing the beauty of being surrounded by voices. She plays harmonium and sings with the kirtan ensemble Rasa Lila and hosts Music of the World on KPFA. Joanna has studied with Rita Sahai and Jai Uttal, and currently studies with Sukhawat Ali Khan. Joanna teaches Yoga for Trauma Recovery and feels that kirtan is a powerful way to heal, connecting the voice with others.
John Kadyk brings bass clarinet; plays with a sublime addition to the trio.
Ramana Erickson learned tabla playing in ashrams as a teen. He brings extensive experience, and has played for Krishna Das, and Nina Rao. Bring your voice and join in the fun.
