Daily Evening Buddhist Ceremony (Chanting)
Every Day \| 5:30–7:30 PM
Join us for our daily evening chanting at Jeweled Flower Temple in Seoul.
We are a traditional Mahayana Buddhist temple with our main temple in California, and our daily chanting follows the Mahayana Buddhist tradition practiced at our temples in the United States and Korea.
English speakers are very welcome. You do not need to know Korean or Chinese, and no previous Buddhist experience is necessary.
Chanting books are provided so that you can easily follow along using either Korean or Chinese pronunciation. Our monastics also speak English and can help guide you through the practice.
You are welcome to arrive late or leave early, as long as you enter and leave quietly without disturbing others.
If you prefer, you may also sit quietly to the side and practice Sitting meditation on your own during the chanting.
Feel free to simply come, listen, chant with us, meditate, and experience a traditional Buddhist evening practice.
