Eco Blitz - Riparian Habitat Restoration at Burnaby Lake Regional Park - Day 2

Come and be part of Eco Blitz 2026 with the Metro Vancouver Ecological Restoration Team at Burnaby Lake Regional Park! Help restore valuable habitat by planting native trees and shrubs in areas cleared of invasive Himalayan blackberry.

Volunteers will also assist with building a split-rail fence to protect sensitive riparian habitat and restoration plantings.

All tools, gloves, and training will be provided. Light refreshments will be available throughout the event.

We will meet in the Avalon Parking lot and then walk over to the restoration site.
