Join Hike with Maddy ATX for an easygoing Wednesday evening walk around Balcones District Park! This will be a relaxed, social outing along the Walnut Creek Trail, perfect for getting outside after work, meeting new people, and enjoying a little midweek movement.

The main loop is approximately 1.3 miles with about 98 feet of elevation gain and includes a mix of paved and natural-surface trail. We may explore a few of the park’s connecting paths along the way depending on time and how the group is feeling. This is meant to be a low-key community walk rather than a strenuous hike, so all experience levels are welcome. We’ll keep a comfortable group pace and take our time enjoying the park, creek, trees, and evening outdoors.
We will meet at the trailhead next to the playground! There is plenty of parking in the park's parking lot.
What to Bring: • Comfortable walking or hiking shoes • Water • Your friendly, leashed pup if you’d like!
