Donnie Darko - 25th Anniversary
About the event
After making little more than a ripple on original release, Kelly’s bona fide cult favourite has grown in stature. It now stands as one of the most distinctive US films of this century. The plot revolves around a downed commercial plane, a human-sized rabbit and Gyllenhaal’s sleepwalking teenager. At heart, it’s fascinating unique portrait of white, middle-class suburban life in the 1980s and a unique take on teen angst.
