About the event
We will meet near the Main Street L stop in front of the Sketchbook Brewery (821 Chicago Avenue).

We will spend about an hour doing a self-guided tour of the Dawes Mansion, the home of former U.S. Vice President, ambassador to Great Britain, and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Charles Gates Dawes. ($10 admission ticket). Afterwards we will continue up the lakefront to downtown Evanston for a snack and a beverage. We will end near the Davis Street L/train station.
