Turma Capital: From Conservatory to Stage — Practical Training for the Professional Musician

Bridges the gap between traditional music education and the realities of performing careers. The program equips instrumentalists to transition confidently from rehearsal rooms to major venues. The first module, Group Music, covers fundamentals of musical direction, arrangement and rehearsal leadership, building skills for ensemble performance. The Stage Techniques module addresses core concepts in audio and acoustics for stage autonomy, technical rider and stage map preparation, and effective communication with roadies and PA and monitor technicians. The final module, Production, explores the live music industry landscape, including booking practices, show sales strategies, copyright and ECAD collection, and communication dynamics with executive and field production teams during performances and tours.
