Let's go see the two bands playing tonight's Sunday live music showcase at The Cambie. First up is **Dogwood & The Shakers,** led by Zander Wood. He's from Edmonton and was "raised on twangy honky tonk and blues. At 20, he lost 4 fingers after being run over by a freight train. After a year of recovery, he picked up his guitar again, donning a leather glove to cover his missing fingers, and dove into gritty blues jams and dive bars." RSVPing "yes" is a commitment to be there when the reservation starts at 5:30. After 6pm, I'll allow The Cambie to use any of our unfilled spaces to seat other customers.** However, it's totally fine to leave earlier than 10pm, which is when the music typically ends. Also, I've confirmed that The Cambie's budget-friendly happy hour menu is now back to its usual, pre-world cup offerings, hours and prices (thank goodness). See the [happy hour menu (available till 9pm) here.](https://www.cambiepubs.com/menu/daily-specials-happy-hour)[ ](https://www.cambiepubs.com/) No cover charge for the music.
