Namaste Austin 2026 – World Dance & Cultural Festival
About the event
Namaste Austin is an immersive, family-friendly celebration of Austin’s multicultural spirit, bringing together dance, music, storytelling, technology and community participation at The Domain. The festival features a vibrant World Dance Showcase with performances representing cultures from around the globe, including Spanish dance, Chinese dance, Polynesian dance, Indian dance and other international traditions. Interactive experiences such as Garba and Bhangra workshops invite audiences to participate, learn and dance alongside the performers. A special highlight is Panchbhootam, a creative performance inspired by the five elements of nature—earth, water, fire, air and space—using movement, music and visual storytelling to explore our shared connection with the natural world. Guests can also experience a Silent Disco, transforming part of The Domain into an energetic, interactive dance experience, along with multicultural activities and creative experiences for families. Blending traditional art forms with contemporary ideas, Namaste Austin creates opportunities for visitors to not only watch performances, but to participate, discover new cultures and celebrate Austin’s diversity together. Presented by Navrus School of Performing Arts and SAIVA. This project is supported in part by an Elevate Grant of Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment.
