About the event
This monthly series of 10-minute talks showcases young voices from the National Gallery’s Articulation initiative. Articulation supports young people in the development of oracy skills, independent research, and presentation skills. Each year, the nation-wide Articulation Prize invites participants aged 16-19 to present a 10-minute talk on a work of art, architecture, or artefact. They then become part of the Alumni Network. In this new series, previous participants (alumni) revisit or reimagine their talks, drawing new inspiration from paintings in the National Gallery. Open to all, these short, engaging 10-minute sessions offer audiences the opportunity to experience the collection through fresh, thoughtful, and diverse perspectives, while celebrating the talent and insight of a new generation of young speakers.
