Digger

Alejandro G. Iñárritu (THE REVENANT, BIRDMAN, AMORES PERROS) returns with a doomsday comedy starring Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, the world’s most powerful man, on a frantic mission to prove he’s humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed brings the planet to its knees. Cruise, looking remarkably like a man his age thanks to prosthetics, delivers his most gloriously unhinged performance since Les Grossman in TROPIC THUNDER. With Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jesse Plemons rounding out the cast, this is a spectacularly over-the-top piece of filmmaking that demands to be seen on the big screen.
