About the event

The 2026 PAFF Closing Night Film. Director Leon Hendrix III will be in attendance for a live Q&A moderated by Ya’Ke Smith (chairperson of the AFS Filmmaker Advisory Committee and associate professor at UT Austin). Disillusioned with her life, Jo visits the storied French district of Montmartre to clear her mind. There she falls for Toussaint, a tour guide with a penchant for poetry and romance. Through their curious connection, history, art and love intertwine, reconnecting Jo to her long-lost passion for life.
