Billionaire John Hammond is building an amusement park full of living dinosaurs, cloned from prehistoric DNA, on a remote island. He invites a group of scientists for a first tour. It soon becomes apparent that the animals do not follow the rules — and a fight for survival begins.
Spielberg at his best
In Jurassic Park (1993), director Steven Spielberg combines suspense, humor, and impressive special effects. The film won 3 Oscars for visual effects and sound engineering. Jeff Goldblum plays the skeptical scientist Ian Malcolm, and Richard Attenborough portrays the idealistic Hammond. The script is based on the novel by Michael Crichton.
