The concert series 'Schaduwspel' by Noah Stakenborg and Jeline Weening offers a moment of reflection. Shadow play Schaduwspel is a musical program by Jeline Weening and Noah Stakenborg that invites visitors to a moment of calm and reflection. Inspired by the narrative jazz of Bill Frisell, Aaron Parks, and Pat Metheny, among others, they create an atmospheric soundscape in which music and spoken texts come together. The performance revolves around the question of how people can reconnect with one another in these times. Noah Stakenborg Noah Stakenborg is a musician, creator, and cultural producer who graduated from the Utrecht Conservatory (HKU Jazz & Pop). His work is situated at the intersection of music, storytelling, and performance, with a focus on interplay, groove, and connection. Noah is active in various musical projects and explores how music and stories can bring people closer together. Jeline Weening Jeline Weening is a jazz saxophonist studying at the Amsterdam Conservatory. In addition to alto saxophone, she also plays soprano saxophone, clarinet, and flute. Her playing is characterized by a warm, soulful sound and a strong emphasis on expression. She moves effortlessly between swing, R&B, funk, soul, and modern jazz, always keeping the connection with the audience at the center.
