About the Programme
Singing is an activity that brings joy and many health-giving benefits to everyone. It is especially therapeutic for older persons to sing together.
Participants will be singing in a group, and will be taught basic skills in chorale and unison singing. Our repertoire will comprise English songs across different genres, including folk, pop, jazz, country and musical theatre. Oldies, evergreens and popular songs will be sung.
For ages 50 and up. No prior experience in singing is required. Join us for a fun and relaxing time, while picking up basic singing skills!
A one-time registration for Run 3 enrols you in all remaining sessions in this series. Please cancel early if you are no longer able to attend.
About the Facilitator
The Queentessentials is led by Florence Phuah, a seasoned solo and choir singer and performer who also leads two other singing interest groups. She is involved in other community singing groups and also sings at elderly care homes and Active Ageing Centres.
About LearnX Communities
