The Firmament — By artist Bayunga Kialeuka

The Firmament begins with the natural development of consciousness and considers how our internal worlds are shaped through continuous exchange with family, geography, architecture, education, media, technology, and social expectations. Through large impressive oil paintings, the viewer is taken on a journey as they ask themselves, how much of what we call reality has been given to us, and how much have we assembled through the act of looking?
