Python Programming with AI Course
About the event
Learning to code has never been more accessible. In this interactive 6-week Python Programming with AI course, you'll build a solid foundation in Python programming while learning how to use AI as a powerful coding partner. Rather than struggling alone with syntax errors or debugging challenges, you'll learn how to communicate your ideas clearly, use AI to generate and explain code, and then refine, test and improve your programs until they work. Along the way, you'll develop genuine problem-solving skills and the confidence to write your own programs from scratch. Rather than relying on AI to do the work for you, you'll learn how to use it thoughtfully to accelerate your learning, deepen your understanding, and become a more capable programmer. Designed specifically for beginners, this course combines expert human instruction with AI-assisted coding techniques to make learning Python more practical, engaging and efficient. Course content During the course, participants will work with techniques and ideas such as: Core Python programming concepts including variables, data types, operators, conditionals, loops, functions and algorithms AI-assisted coding techniques, including prompting AI to generate, explain and optimise Python code Testing and debugging using AI to generate test data and identify programming errors Building practical Python projects such as calculators, API integrations and simple data-processing applications Exploring Python's standard library, external APIs and basic optimisation techniques Applying clean coding principles, effective problem-solving strategies and project organisation Intended audience This course is ideal for complete beginners who want to learn programming using modern AI tools alongside expert tutor guidance. It is also suitable for anyone who has experimented with coding previously and would like to strengthen their programming fundamentals while learning how to use AI effectively as a coding assistant. No prior programming experience is required.
