Women’s Reconciliation Network – Redfern Yarning Circle
About the event
The Women’s Reconciliation Network (WRN) is an informal network of First Nations and non-Indigenous women committed to the ongoing process of achieving justice, truth, and equality for all Australia’s First Nations peoples. Formed in May 1996 in response to a government-led reconciliation process, WRN continues to create spaces for dialogue, learning, and shared action. Listen: Sally Fitzpatrick – Part 1 “We are women relating and sharing; following the leadership of First Nations Elders and leaders; networking ideas and actions towards bridge-building and reconciliation; creating safe spaces to share stories; and deepening our knowledge of First Nations cultures, stories and histories—recognising that these are gifts to all Australians.” You can explore WRN’s history, photos, stories, events, and resources—and sign up (free of charge)—by visiting our website and social media: Website: wrnredfern.org.au Facebook: Women’s Reconciliation Network Monthly gatherings: WRN meets face to face at Redfern Community Centre and also via Zoom.
