SUP means Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Come join us for a relaxed, social morning on Lady Bird Lake! This paddle is for intermediate and above paddlers who are comfortable standing, paddling, steering, and keeping up with the group. You don’t need to be an expert—just come ready to have fun, meet people, and enjoy the water.
Bring your own board or rent one from Texas Rowing Center.
Rental Prices
• 1 hour — $25
• 2 hours — $50
• All day — $55
Rentals include a paddleboard, paddle, and PFD (Personal Flotation Device/life jacket). If bringing your own board, please bring your own PFD.
Parking
• Metered street parking is available on Stephen F. Austin Drive behind Texas Rowing Center.
• Overflow parking is available under the MoPac Bridge, about a 5-minute walk west.
• Free weekend parking is available at the Austin High School parking lot across the street.
Please arrive about 15 minutes early to park, sign the waiver, and get your equipment ready.
Bring: Water, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses, and a dry bag if you have one.
We’ll paddle together at an easy, social pace for about two hours. Join us for brunch afterward if you’re interested!
