*Description:* A successful filmmaker returns to his Sicilian hometown for the funeral of Alfredo, the projectionist who started his love of cinema. Giuseppe Tornatore's CINEMA PARADISO won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and the Grand Prix at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival.
*About the venue*: Seattle Public Theater is a nonprofit that helps make live, innovative theater accessible to everyone. The building is a 100-year-old bathhouse that was converted into a playhouse in 1970. It sits directly on the walking path that circles Green Lake.
