Whataburger Paint Out
About the event
Come paint a historic Whataburger with us! The Cameron Road restaurant features Whataburger's original A-frame design. Built in 1971 it is the oldest Whataburger in Austin as well as one of only 10 original A-frame Whataburgers still in service.
**Note: We haven't requested permission to paint inside the restaurant.*
What to bring:
• The art medium and supplies you'd like to work in — no supplies will be provided • Water and sun protection, as the paint out will be outdoors (there is no shade around the building's exterior)
Good to know:
• This paint out will focus on the building's unique exterior; we do not have approval to paint inside the building. • Restrooms may be available to customers inside. • Parking: The restaurant is surrounded by multiple parking lots, but note that we haven't requested permission to paint in the parking lots. It is advisable to paint near your vehicle or pay attention to it in case security checks in.
