In 2023, the Finnish alternative rock band Poets of the Fall stopped by to celebrate their twentieth anniversary. This time, the band is performing at the Melkweg for the fifth time to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the album 'Carnival of Rust' (2006). The record was received with much praise at the time and marked an important moment in their career.

The band's success began when they released their first single 'Late Goodbye' in 2004, and Poets of the Fall is now among the top of the Finnish rock scene. The group is known for its unique blend of pop, rock, metal, and industrial. During this show, the band will play the album 'Carnival of Rust' live in its entirety, giving fans a unique opportunity to experience the iconic songs in an intimate setting.
