Kayaking & snorkeling in Arrábida

**Join the Lisbon Kayak Crew for snorkeling!** We are heading back out to the beach for an exciting 3-hour ride including snorkeling sessions, departing from the Portinho da Arrábida. We will paddle along the coast and stop at some beautiful beaches, such as Praia do Coelho, Praia dos Galapinhos, and/or Praia dos Pilotes, as well as the Santa Margarida cave. We will stop for snorkeling around the island of Anixa and/or Praia de Alpertuche. Whether you're an experienced kayaker, a beginner looking to try something new, or somewhere in between - this event is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. **Duration**: approx. 5 hours total * 3 hours on the water (incl. breaks) * 2 hours for a picnic lunch as a group You are welcome to spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach to hang out! **Price**: €45 per person. This includes: * Kayak rental including life jacket, paddle, and dry bag * Wetsuit and snorkeling gear * Certified monitors to ensure the safety of all participants To reserve your spot and facilitate organization with the kayak company, please send your **payment** via Revolut (@maaadison) or MBWay (+351926105878) within 48 hours of joining - otherwise you will be switched over to the waitlist. **First come, first served!** Last day for payments is **Wednesday, August 5th**. After you have pre-paid, you will be invited to the WhatsApp community to better organize carpooling as well as share pictures and other event-related information. **What to bring:** * Swimsuit and/or clothes that can get wet * Water shoes/sandals with straps * Sunscreen and hat * Change of clothes, second pair of shoes, and a towel * Waterproof case for your phone to take pictures along the way * Picnic lunch and blanket, sun shade **Level:** This descent is suitable for beginners and children (10+). Well-behaved dogs welcome. Basic instructions will be given by the guides before we begin. The kayak rental company covers personal accident and civil liability insurance at no extra cost. Safety is taken very seriously and there will be certified monitors guiding us along the descent. **How to get there**: 🚙: Arrive by **09:30** by car(pool) to the restaurant **[D'Uportinho](https://g.co/kgs/4X16oCV)**. \ *The main road to Arrábida is closed. There is a small (!) parking lot just before the road blocks [here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/vgWtVvVX6xBePgFz8?g_st=ic)**, as well as limited parking on the road. From there, walk 15-20 minutes downhill to the restaurant. \*\* Public transportation to this location is extremely difficult.
