Known for their high-energy festival performances and SAMA-winning alternative rock sound, the band is stepping away from the big stages for a relaxed, seated show. This special evening is a rare chance to experience their catalogue up close, from classics such as “Daddy Don’t Disco” and “Homewrecker” to songs from their recent EP, Radiant Clouds, all served with stories, conversation and considerably less distance between band and audience.

The Dirty Skirts are an indie rock band hailing from Cape Town and recorded and toured between 2004 and 2012. They have released a new EP “Radiant Clouds” in 2023 and are playing live once again.
Their career highlights include being nominated for Best Rock Album SAMA for their album ‘Daddy Don’t Disco’ (2008) and winning Best Alternative Album SAMA (2011) for their album ‘Lost in the Fall’.
The Dirty Skirts signed to labels Sony, Sheer and, more recently, Just Music in 2023. The band has opened for multiple international artists including Oasis, Snow Patrol, Evanescence, Three Doors Down, Billy Talent and Staind.
The Dirty Skirts have featured as main stage entertainment at many South African festivals including Oppikoppi, Rocking the Daisies, Up the Creek, Ramfest, Splashy Fen, The Coca-Cola Festival, Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts and Seeding the Daisies. In addition to being invited to play the SXSW festival in Texas USA, touring to the UK and UAE.
